IRIS

Can't say how amazing this korean drama IRIS is. I saw it on those korean sites awhile ago when it first started airing and wanted to catch it online but just didnt have time. So I woke up uber early today and was channel surfing when I found this show showing on tv! Two episodes and it got me hooked. Theres this really really REALLY sweet part on the love journey or however else you call it between the two lead characters in episode 3 and 4. And all dramas alike, if it starts off well, you can be sure that nothing good will follow. I am hoping hoping hoping that these two will end up together at the end but from snippets that I've seen so far, things doesnt seem good! Heehee. There are so many twists in this show and its really intense. Can't wait for the final episode!!!!

Butter, Finally!

So much for wanting to rest last week yadah yadah. Ended up going for the Nuyou Men We Love 2009 event at Zouk on Thursday. There were supposed to be 25 contestants but apparently 9 dropped out, with only 16 left. Among the lasts 16 left, there were really one or two of them that obviously stood out from the rest and were crowd favourites. Not saying which are my favourites because thats not the point here. Ha. But as it happens each year, one lucky dude will be tasked to strip to show off his hot bod (which were definitely pre-examined by the organizers first) during the event. Lucky number 25 got the opportunity to do so that probably propelled him to be the dude with the most number of votes from the audience. Ended up at Butter after the event and the rest of the night is history. One glass of vodka redbull left me sleepless the entire night and imagine having to drag myself to work the next day when the redbull effect was dying. Of course I didn't have a problem waking up because I barely even slept! Ha. I could still reply smses, send emails and talk on the phone at 5am. When I reached the office, I just stoned. Haha. Whats new. This week, no more. I am so so tired already!

Anyway, I received a really shocking message today. I just stared at it for awhile, not sure how to react. The message kept replaying in my mind the whole day and made me realize how precious life really is. When someone leaves this planet, its probably God taking him away saying 'Its Time'. Some are meant to live long, while some shorter than others. Im sure that there is a reason for everything but probably not something we can comprehend in the short run. Will be keeping whoever needs prayer, in prayer.

*edit: I just found someone who has a mole which is at the same spot as one of the many I have. Hahaha.

Its like, one of those eventful weeks just passed...

Im tired and exhausted from the events over the week. Its been two weeks of partying and lots of fun my body is showing signs it needs to rest now. So it was a Burberry event on Tues trying to get a glimpse of Won Bin with non stop free flow of champagne, impromptu ktv pubbing and a Fred Perry post party event at Velvet on Thurs, dinner and catching up with the girls on Friday followed by wine bar for some terrible wine no one will ever wanna drink again. To think I still wanted to go out over the weekends but Im far too tired. Only got a pair of cross trainers in gay pink and white over the weekend and stuffed myself silly during dinner today. Photos from Thursday on STOMP but I look baddddd in them so I shall not attempt to save any of them. A whole new week is coming and I have not recovered!! Yelp!

I hope I've got my mind sorted now. I should not be afraid of letting go because I know there will be better out there. Right? I know theres someone out there who loves me, willing to take in all my shit and nonsense I've given him, laugh and think my blonde moments are well, cute. At the end of the day he loves me for who I am (seems like it) and I should be thankful. Even though he might be lacking in some muscles, but thats ok because who he is makes up for it all. Wheee.

Tired Soul, Tired Eyes

I caught Love Happens on Friday after work with Jo and its really nice! Though it isn't the most WOW storyline, but its sweet and nice I have to admit I teared. I know you were tearing too Jo! And we tried dinner at this Crystal Jade Hong Kong Cafe place at 313 Orchard. Nissin noodles was awesome but chicken rice.. Hmm. Not too bad place to try. Its pretty affordable too. Then to Zouk for a short chillout session which extended till the wee hours of the morning. Fun times!

Halloween on Sat @ Zouk again which was really disappointing. Too many people and all... But supper was fun. Hahaha. Two days of partying and a severe lack of sleep has led me to be really zombie like today. I am so stoned now I don't have the energy to prepare for my thing tomorrow.
