Convocation 2009

Finally graduated after 3 long years of slogging my ass of (for 1.5 years). Was just in time for the convocation and my mother was pissed off I was dilly dallying at home till the very last minute. Reached there gan cheong desperately looking for help to wear the gown when its actually fairly simple. Even simpler as compare to the stupid PDF they gave. Took some photos cos of the lack of friends in bizad (whats new?).

Ok time to start getting ready slowly and eat Korean food later. Its this new place at the new mall in town called 313 Orchard or whatever it is called. Gonna psycho Eugene to go there. Whee.

Ultra Backdated

Oh its been such a long time. Couldnt update the blog with pictures and my whiny text simply because I have been busy with work and had problems posting entries due to xxx reasons which i managed to solve by myself after much googling. Wheee. One fine Wednesday many weeks ago, alllll the girls managed to meet up for dinner and drinks! Yummy jap food for dinner and our new found place - Social House. Social House is pretty interesting because they have like China girls dancing at intervals and this guy in beanie, blazer and shades singing. Doesnt he feel hot? Other than that and the occasional bad music early on in the night, its a pretty good place to go to! Recommended! Haha. We were supposed to 'go back early' after drinks at Social House but I suddenly suggested heading to Butter (because I really wanna go!) and after some psychoing and more drinks, off we went! Bumped into the randomess of people at butter but nothing bad of course :)

Outing with the aunty and female cousins. Jap food at Ichiban Sushi. Jap food there is alright but after my one week once Jap food spree with Eugene, Ichiban really pales in comparison. There is this AWESOME Jap food place in Cuppage called Izakaya Nijumaru which serves pretty authentic Jap food. Even the menu is in Jap and its quite difficult to decipher whats what I ate the same thing the two times I was there. Even the name of the restaurant is so Jappy. Its my current favourite Japanese restaurant! Go try the salmon set or bbq bacon stick. Its some of the things we tried and all of them tastes pretty good!

Had to make use of the last week before I started my internship to meet up with people. These includes Ayam Penyet @ Lucky Plaza, collecting my convo gown, partying, meeting up with the dearest gladys while she was back (and disappeared so silently) and I dont know what else...

And Grace and Gladys finally meets after 2 years because their holidays never seem to coincide! We decided on Korean fare at East Coast Road. Bibimbap and Kimchi soup was the most amazing thing. Hahaha.

There are seriously truckloads of photos I haven gotten round to uploading, much less rip them off facebook. Ha. Soon soon. I am so tired from work everyday when I spent 80% of my time doing data entry of the customers. It is VERY BORING that I have to thank my lucky stars for gmail chat, which keeps me company at work. And I have two constant gmail chat buddies, who talk to me almost everyday from Mon - Fri. Hahahaha. I am praying hard I will have slightly more work to do regarding ION to keep me more occupied without having to do data entry!! Ha. I will be unemployed come Sep so wish me luck in finding a job.

Met up with Min n Mel for drinks yesterday night. So fun! Went to zouk with them first cos Eugene was LATE and after being inside zouk and hearing Crookers spin for 5mins, I DIDNT WANNA LEAVE AT ALL! Music was awesomeeeee!! But I know I shldnt be so mean. Make someone come all the way and ask him to go home again. Zouk wont close down and good djs are abundant :)
